Types of Portrait Sessions

We do In Studio or On Location Sessions

On Site

With our portable studios, we have the ability to not only shoot in the studio but on location or both.  We specialize in shooting on location but sometimes the weather in Southern California is not always as dry as the song says it should be.  We have also found that shooting on site has its advantages.  A forgotten shoe, a coat with a missing button can sometimes be remedied at the client’s location easier than making a special trip for the items.  Backgrounds are also something to take into consideration.  Nothing beats a beautiful sunset or a view of the beach here in California!

  

Maternity

Our idea of photography is to capture those moments that truly define who you are, what your family dynamic is like, the REAL you.

We will take time to get to know you and your family and will get down on the floor and play with your children, find out about the goals and aspirations of the high school senior, and about your interests and styles. Doing all of this helps us capture those joyful moments in your life, creating classic portraits!

 

 

Babies/Children

Photographing babies has always been a passion for us.  We have been involved with shooting hundreds of children's events and have always come away with photos to cherish for a lifetime.

 Pregnant

Being pregnant is a great time in your life and we encourage every Mother-to-be to get some photos while you still are.  Nothing seems to quite tell the story of how big your baby was as photos of him or her still in your tummy.... 

Family

Annual Family Portraits are a great way to capture the growth of your family.  Whether we do it in the studio or on location, you will have a great time with us!  We also encourage you to bring your pets with you.  We love animals and shoot everything from puppies to Clydesdales for our customers.

Seniors

We shoot High school senior portraits for the schools as well as for individual families.  These are special pictures that you do once in your child's lifetime. We specialize in doing On-location portraiture for your graduate.  

We will work with both of you to figure out what “special look” the two of you are looking for.

 

Portrait Pricing - seniors

Our senior shoot consists of a location session usually, so that we can capture a wide range of images with different lighting. We are working to capture more than just a photo of the senior – We are after some insight into what they like, are involved with, interested in, you know what makes your senior tick.

The fee for the shoot is $95 not including prints, which can be ordered online about a week after the event.  We will post the proofs and then you will be able to order prints, albums and other items directly.

Senior Portrait Print Packages

Senior portraits have a special print package that may choose from, in addition to the regular a la carte prints. These packages will save you money compared to purchasing the prints individually.

Couples

It’s funny how many photos on Facebook are of couples trying to take their own photos to no avail.  A photographer can capture photos of you and your love without breaking the bank.  You choose the location and attire and we’ll meet you for the shoot!  We also shoot down at the harbor if you are looking for some great backgrounds for your photos.

 

Pets

We love animals and raise 4 service dogs for the VA hospital in Loma Linda CA ourselves so we know how you feel about your pet!  We can take photos of you with your pet or if you have never thought about a session for your pet, you might want to.  We also shoot professionally for several Equestrian events and can shoot larger animals if you have one!

Funeral Photography

 

Some people may think funeral photography is a bit of a strange business to get into, but a Christian funeral is a celebration, a celebration of a person’s life, a celebration of Christ's victory over death, and a celebration of our loved ones entry into the kingdom of heaven.

For those of you who are not convinced of this, take a look at the order of service for a funeral service.  We also shoot at the Riverside National Cemetery for those who have served our country.

Also, I am in the process of setting up a network of funeral photographers - worldwide, to benefit both photographers, and those who are looking for a funeral photographer.
